There are two types of BOSS footswitches to chose from depending on the application. The FS-5U (momentary type) engages a function while you hold down the switch. The FS-5L (latch type) changes the on/off status each time you press the switch.

For fourteen years, the famous BOSS FV-300 served as an industry-standard volume pedal. The tradition continued with the FV-50 series, but today the bar has been raised with BOSS's new FV-500H (high-impedance) and FV-500L (low-impedance) pedals. These tank-tough diecast pedals are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The pedals offer a new stylish design, a road-tough build, and a comfortable, smooth action. Both models also provide an Expression output for use with expression-compatible amps, effects, and even synthesizers.

Ultra-smooth pedal movement for the utmost in comfort and control
Adjustable pedal feel (torque)
Pedal rubber is for comfortable play and non-slip action
The included Nord Triple Pedal offers an unprecedented functionality, with the addition of a dynamic control of the mechanical noise during operation, and the ability for you as a player to use half-pedalling and ''release and catch'' techniques.
The right pedal is the sustain pedal. When the sustain
pedal is operated on an acoustic grand or upright piano, many different
sounds are produced by the mechanical components, several of the sounds
can be reproduced by the Nord Piano.
When the dampers are lifted from the strings when the sustain
pedal is pressed down, a beautiful sizzle can be heard. When you remove
the foot from the pedal, the dampers are returned on to the strings,
which creates a different, muted type of sound.
Since the pedal is dynamic, you can experiment with various forces in pressing, and in releasing the pedal. If you just slip your foot of
the sustain pedal, allowing the return spring to spring with full force,
a noticeable sound will appear.
The ''floor sound'' is heard when the pedal reaches the bottom of
its travel. You can experience this in isolation if you press down the
pedal completely, then lift it less than halfway back up and then press
down again.
If you lift the pedal and immediately press it down again, a very
rich sound will be heard. Another big sound is 'The Stomp', which
requires you to start with your foot above the actual pedal, in order to
be able to reach the high velocity that is required to get this sound.
The left pedal is the soft pedal, the Una Corda. When you
press this pedal, all the notes you play will be slightly lower in
volume and have a slightly more subdued tone quality.
The middle pedal is the Sostenuto. By using this pedal,
you can sustain selected notes, while other notes remain unaffected.
Only the notes that are held down when the pedal is operated will
sustain. Other notes that you play while keeping the pedal down will
sound as if no pedal was operated at all.
This professional piano style damper (Sustain) pedal offers half-damper action when used with products that support half-damper control. For products that do not support half-damper message, the pedal will act like a regular, full damper pedal.
Five momentary footswitches conveniently mounted in a single compact unit. Connects with a 6-pin cable (included). The EC5 is used primarily with Korg Arranger keyboards. Functions are determined by the individual product and settings.
This versatile foot controller/expression pedal can be used with most Korg keyboards, modules and effect processors, when connected to the assignable pedal socket for normal use. It includes an adjustable minimum setting via the side mounted slide control and includes a 3 conductor cable.
Korg has expanded their popular clip-on tuner lineup with the ultra-light PC-1 Pitch Clip. This new model is a chromatic, clip-on tuner with a new low-profile design and a high-visibility display.
This universal pedal can be used for sustain when connected to the damper input of Korg keyboards. It can also be used for the assignable input jack on Korg products, where it will provide various functions depending on the product's settings.
This low-cost pedal can be used for sustain when connected to the damper input of Korg keyboards. It can also be used for the assignable footswitch jack on Korg products, where it will provide various functions depending on the product's settings. The PS3 features a tough, molded plastic body with a non-slip rubber base.
This massive cast aluminum pedal operates as either a stereo in-line (in/out) volume pedal, or as an expression pedal when hooked up to the assignable foot pedal jack of Korg products. A minimum output level control is built-in.
The M-Audio SP-2 Sustain Pedal is the perfect product for keyboard players who want the most realistic pedal action. The SP-2 model is used in the same manner as the sustain pedal on an acoustic piano. This classic-style pedal works with any M-Audio keyboard. Designed to work and feel just like an acoustic piano's sustain pedal, it has a specially designed rubber bottom that grips the floor and stays put while you play. The SP-2 is a high-quality switchable damper pedal.
This well-built, real-feel pedal comes with a non-slip rubber plate - essential when performing on hardwood or slip-prone surfaces - and an extended cable (2.2m) for stacked multi-keyboard setups. It is compatible with half-damper capable keyboards, and it can also serve as a standard pedal switch (for sustain, etc).
Momentary footswitch for "non-latch" footswitch operations such as sustaining notes on electronic keyboards. The DP-2 can also be used for things like punch in/out on Roland/BOSS recording gear.
The Roland DP-8 Damper Pedal is the perfect choice for keyboard players who want the most realistic pedal action, thanks to new half-pedal support. When used with compatible instruments, this function allows the sustain length to be varied depending on how deep the pedal is pressed. The versatile DP-8 can also be used a simple pedal switch.
The EV-5 and EV-7 Expression Pedals can be used to control a range of functions and effects parameters in real time. The EV-5 is an ultra-compact model that fits perfectly onto guitar pedalboards or under synthesizer setups, while the EV-7 is a larger metal version that's designed for use with combo organs like the Roland VK-Series. Both models offer a minimum volume knob.
